22nd December 2004 Windsurfing: Golf Course Car park, Ynyslas Wind Direction: W Wind Stength: 16-20 knots Surf / Sea State: 2 foot messy surf Air Temperature: 9ºC Sea Temperature: 12ºC Weather: Cloudy Max Speed: Distance Covered: Back on the water at last after what seems like ages off due to illness.... Although there were a few session on the portaloo during that time that were worthy of a diary entry!!! Not a bad day, started off pretty windy so I had 1 run on my little board and 5m sail before the wind dropped off and I had to change up to my bigger board. half an hour of that the the wind dropped still further so I change to my 5.7m. That was just about OK although more wind would have been better. Lots of kiters out, Paul, Encee, Shem, Neil, Col, Tim and Dunk. I pumped the 11m Strike up about to go out on that at one point, but as I did the wind filled in nicely so I ended up getting back out there wind surfing... Nothing special, but had about 5 hours on the water anyway. |
